Terms of sale

These terms apply to every quote, proforma invoice and shipment.

On every quote and proforma

This paragraph is printed on the quote and on the proforma invoice.

Prices are in US dollars and are valid for 7 calendar days from the date shown. Incoterms 2020 DAP [city, country]. First orders are paid 100% in advance by wire transfer. The purchase order goes to the distributor once the funds clear. Bank charges are for the account of the buyer. The paying account must be in the name of [BUYER LEGAL NAME]. Lead time runs from the date funds clear.

Payment

The payer must be the buyer entity named on the invoice.
  • A new buyer prepays the first order 100 percent in advance
  • After the first order, the deposit covers landed cost and the balance is due on delivery confirmation
  • Payment by international wire from the buyer's own account, in the buyer's own name
  • The distributor purchase order is placed once the funds have cleared

Documents and export

Required on every order.
  • An end-user statement on buyer letterhead with every order
  • Electronic Export Information filed on every export
  • Every part classified on its orderable part number before a quote is issued
  • When a line requires a US export license, we file for it and quote it subject to approval. Ask us

Text messaging program (Gatewell USA request updates)

Consent to this program is given for this program alone, on a call when you ask for the request link and give the number to text, or by texting us first. It is not bundled into any other agreement. Gatewell USA sends text messages only to buyers who have given that consent. Messages concern your request only: the request page link, receipt of your request, and notice that your quote was emailed. Frequency varies and is typically one to three messages per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help, or email requests@gatewellusa.com. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy.

Supply and inspection

Nothing ships from stock.
  • Parts are sourced to order from authorized US distributors
  • A provenance pack ships with every lot
  • Returns are accepted only for parts that fail incoming inspection against the distributor's packing slip
